It covers everything from contract law, outlining the main points to any contract, explaining terms such as boilerplate clauses, to all the copyright directives which have been put into place, to court-related topics such as infringement of copyright, what is a tort and what isn't, and so on.
Besides being useful for students of publishing law, this text offers advice to those involved in publishing, from simple everyday things like contracts, to worst-case scenarios such as how to sue somebody.
Of course, the topic is dull. But the authors do their best to make the subject easy to learn, and it must have worked: I got a first on my law exam! ( )
