In volume two of the WILD ONES series, Sachie and the clan head to the beach to visit her grandfather’s friend and enjoy some fun in the sun. The group soon encounters trouble when Sachie meets Azumi Inui, who quickly becomes enamored with her, sparking Rakuto’s jealousy and competitive drive.
I once again enjoyed the trip back into Sachie’s over-the-top and humorously ridiculous life. In this sequel to WILD ONES, vol. 2 Sachie continues to keep the clan’s henchmen on their toes as her vigilante ways often lead to unforeseen and dangerous situations. Many would become exasperated—I certainly would!—but they seem to take it in stride and take comfort that her presence in their lives has filled them with happiness.
Volume two delivers more “awwwwh”s, more gut-wrenching moments as Sachie mourns her mother’s death, and priceless cockblocking from oblivious clan members. ( )
