This is the first book of Elliott Roosevelt's mystery serious that I've read. I enjoyed insights into the White House, the Roosevelts, Winston Churchill and World War II. Roosevelt's writing style is clear and quick-paced and the mystery well structed. I have to assume that much of what he writes about his parents is fairly accurate, even if it is fiction. His family was the subject of almost his entire writing career, It was fun to get a personal glimpse into the everyday lives of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt (and Winston Churchill too -- did you know he took 2 long baths a day?). Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
