Ascoltare questo libro, credo mi abbia aiutata ad apprezzarlo ancora di piu e credo che il titolo "Voci" spieghi benissimo il perche..Le voci si ascoltano e la nostra protagonista Michela ama le voci, tanto da farne la sua professione.. Si troverà immischiata in un giallo in cui sarà lei a dover scoprire cosa si nasconde dietro la morte della sua vicina di casa..
Avrete capito che si tratta di un giallo..
Leggere questo libro sussurrato e scritto benissimo mi ha fatto conoscere la grande penna di Dacia Maraini, innamorandomene...
Merita, io non amo i gialli ma questo scavando nelle relazioni dei loro protagonisti mi ha catturata.. ( )

VOICES is a murder mystery set in Italy. The story opens with the main character, Michela, returning home to discover her neighbor had been murdered the week before. Her landlady is cleaning up the apartment and fills her in on the details of the murder. The book is filled with descriptions and at the end of the story the reader is still uncertain as to who really committed the murder as you have two surprising suspects.

I am not sure what I thought of this story. To me, I felt as if I was reading portions of different stories placed together to make a mystery. At times, I felt the story was attempting to be some sort of literary classic with all the descriptors and self reflection on the page. Then later it was as if the story would change course and I was once again reading a mystery, while at other times I felt I was reading an assignment for a creative writing course.

This story, to me, is filled with extraneous material that has nothing to do with the mystery itself. The self reflection, the turtle crossing the road, the cat lady could have been left completely without affecting the mystery. On the other hand though, I felt that the ending with the two options for the killer is new and different from mysteries I've read. ( )

entdeckt zunehmend einen Sumpf von Lügen, Verschleierungen,
Irrtümern, Verdrängungen und psychischen Traumata. Es
erweist sich, daß die Hintergründe dieses Mordes weit in
die Kindheit des Opfers zurückreichen. Michela, die
Ich-Erzählerin, berichtet tagebuchartig, fast lakonisch.
Ein gesellschaftskritischer Krimi mit psychologischem
Tiefgang für viele Bibliotheken. ( )

Als die Journalistin Michela Canova von einem Seminar nach Hause kommt, erfährt sie, dass ihre Nachbarin mit mehreren Messerstichen getötet wurde. Sie fängt an, sich mit diesem Mord zu beschäftigen - dabei kommt ihr zu Hilfe, dass ihr Chef sie beauftragt, eine Sendereihe über ungeklärte Morden an Frauen vorzubereiten. Bei ihren Nachforschungen stößt sie auf eine Menge Lügen und ein Familiendrama.

Was mir an dem Buch gefallen hat: die Erzählweise und die Figur der Journalistin. Nicht gefallen hat mir zum einen die Menge an Statistiken und Zitaten aus Zeitungsausschnitten über die Gewalt an Frauen. Außerdem bekam man dass Gefühl, dass jede Form dieser Gewalt auch mit diesem Mordfall in Verbindung gebracht werden soll: Prostitution, Vergewaltigung, Schläge, Kindesmißbrauch - alles taucht in den Schilderungen der Befragten auf.
