Dahl's imaginative work is full of laughs and sometimes dead pan humor. Follow Charlie as he attempts to get used to the quirks and qualities of his new chocolate factory. A good book to read with a younger sibling, or by yourself. Plus, there's lots of talk about candy. Who doesn't love that? ( ) We just finished listening to this book (second or third time THIS decade) again. There are some really great bits and lines in this book. I read it as a kid and loved it then, though thought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was better. This one is more subtle and not as tightly written, but enjoyable as well. At the begaing of the book mr.wonka and charlies family are insaide the glass elevator and, end up going so high that they ened in space. Then some aleins attack them. later on in the book mr.wonka make pills to decrees your age and gramal georgina takes to many pills and ends up in minus land. so they have to go to minus land to get gramal georgina back. I thinck this was a good book. I think this book was advetures.I like how this book was writen. I liked the decripition in this book. I recomend you too read this book. Roald dahl made a wonderfully active and sort of really funny character called mr.wonka. Mr.wonka is really random and has really stupid inventions that are not useful at all. He's candy inventions are so retarded such like the square gum. But, still I really liked reading this book it was really funny. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
