Angus is 16 and thinks his family is terribly boring and uncool because his parents aren't divorced and he does lots of family things with both his Mum and Dad and his grandparents. This is despite his Dad having long hair, wearing leathers and riding a Harley - which makes him the envy of every other kid in the footy team. His best friend Nucc has a dad in jail, and the other two "losers" he hangs out with are caught drag racing down the Princes Highway. Angus is in love with Caitlin but her life is hell too - she lives with her aunt because her mother has disappeared after being attacked by her defacto.
