I gave this pattern book a 5/5 because it was very well done and the pattern was clear and easy to follow along to. This would be good to use with any student who has a sibling because they will be able to relate to the text, as they might have used their siblings toys before. The book shows a young girl playing with her older brothers cars that repeat the same sounds for the colored cars, and being interrupted after each page telling her the same thing about putting the cars back in order. This book has a decent amount of text, so I would not use this with a very new reader, but this would be good to use with a struggling reader that you want to push a little more. ( ) This fictional story would be a great tool for teaching colors to students. A story is told of a young brother and sister. The sister plays with the brother's cars while he is gone. Through the story we learn the colors blue, red, and yellow. The author also uses the story to teach patterns. The pictures are bright and engaging which will keep the attention of its young readers. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
