The first reason I like reading this book was because of the characters. Arthur, the main character, matured throughout the story. He found Sue Ellen's diary and had a tough decision to make, whether he was going to read it or not. He decided to be a good friend and not read Sue Ellen's secret diary and gave it back to her. Another reason I liked the story was because of the writing. The writing was very simple, yet still made a great story. There was a lot of conversations during the book and there were different fonts used to differentiate different parts of the story. There was a different font Sue Ellen used for writing in her journal. There was also another font used when all the people in the book were talking about the lost diary. The main idea of this book is trust and honesty. Arthur had a tough decision to make, whether or not he was going to read the diary, but in the end he picked the right decision and gave Sue Ellen back her diary without reading the secrets that she wrote in it. I just needed to read an easy book today. Cute story about a girl that looses her diary while at the library and she is afraid that someone will read it and all her secrets will be revealed. When Arthur and her friends discover the diary is missing they all daydream about what she has written about them. They were interesting stories and you can see how when we are young we have wild imaginations. Some adults can still do that and I think I am one of them. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
