The gy is doing great and Rigger is a "doctor" loved by coworkers and patients alike. Rigger starts feeling tired and weak but makes light of it. The man is clearly sick except in the eyes of his hot and always horny lovers. He hides his illness hoping that Rock or Dick will notice until he finally collapses. This last jarhead book tests the men's love as Rigger is near death. More porn with a little more story. ( )

Rock, Rig, and Dick have settled into their lives in California. Everything should be great, but Rig isn't feeling well. Rather than telling his partners, he keeps his illness to himself, and the three must deal with the consequences.I enjoyed this Jarheads book, but it is my least favorite in the series. From the portraits I've gotten of the guys from the other stories, I just don't think they acted in character in this story. Yes, Rig probably would have kept his illness from the guys for as long as possible, but I don't think he would have avoided seeking treatment for so long. For goodness sake, he is a physician's assistant. He'd have to know that vomiting blood is indicative of something horrific. Also, with the drastic changes in his behavior, I think that Rock and Dick would have taken more notice. Dick did suspect something, but he let Rig put him off. That was realistic, but I just think Rock, as protective as he is of his Rabbit, would have noticed something long before.I would like to see more about Deuce and Gary. Rock's reaction to Gary was completely within character, but I would've thought Rig would have worried more. He's just that type of guy. He's a worrier and a fixer. As far as I know, Michael hasn't written a story that reveals what happens between Deuce and Gary. If the story is out there, I hope someone will let me know. ( )
