Meld je aan bij LibraryThing om erachter te komen of je dit boek goed zult vinden. Op dit moment geen Discussie gesprekken over dit boek. Een boek van Joanne Harris moet wel goed zijn. Maar hier moest ik even inkomen. De hoofdpersonen zijn Roy Straitley en een ik-persoon die afwisselend per hoofdstuk aan het woord zijn. De ik-persoon blijft vaag, maar heeft een duidelijk doel. Ook gaat het verhaal van het 'nu' naar het verleden en weer terug. Uiteindelijk wist het me toch wel te boeien. ( ) Een indringer infiltreert in de upper class jongensschool St.Oswald. Hij/zij zorgt er voor de nodige onrust door goedgeplaatste aanwijzingen naar onschuldige personen, moorden,... Dit alles uit jaloezie en haat doordat hijzelf uit een andere klasse komt. Een intrigerende whodunit die zich afspeelt in een klassieke omgeving waar het keurige imago hoog in het vaandel word gedragen.
