This story is cute but very simple. I like that it hits some very basic factors such as color. I would use this story with young kids and have them work on colors at the same time. The pictures a whimsical and pretty. The colors are bright and captivating.

A very simple book about a what a tow truck can do, even when facing different obstacles and challenges.

Summary:
On a rainy day Red Truck has an important task to do. The school bus gets stuck because of the weather and Red Truck comes to the rescue. Red Truck is able to do anything because it is a work truck. Red Truck can pass puddles, pull the school bus, and go up a steep hill.

Comments:
Important vocabulary young children could learn while reading this book. Also many children can relate to the story because it talks about the school bus and about a rainy day. I like how children can learn what could occur on a rainy day but also how their is a solution for every conflict. The illustrations are good. I like how the illustrations cover the whole page and the words are written over the colored pages. ( )

A fun read aloud and great for specific vocabulary building.
