The character is a strong female character both physically and spiritually, following her heart, dreams and sense of justice--all great values to bestow on young minds. The illustrations are intricate, beautiful and often dreamlike. I recommend this book as an example of depicting a positive, strong female mythological character. I also appreciate the elements of forgiveness and respect for the spirit realm. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
