I loved having a Spanish option in my library, especially one that is Spanish. This book was not anything overly engaging because it was just space photographs of Saturn and writing. No labeled photos and no story to go along with, but it just nonfiction, informational writing about the planet Saturn. The biggest part of this is just having a Spanish option for my classroom so students do not feel left out of science lessons. There tends to be a lot of numbers and measurements so I'm guessing there is data after data which is why I could see this not being the MOST engaging read, but it is still an option. ( ) Genre: Nonfiction - Informational Reading Level: Primary Summary: Explore the beauty of Saturn, its icy rings and giant moons! Evaluation: Seymour Simon does a stunning job informing the reader all about Saturn! The only downfall is it being published in 1985, but it includes so much interesting information and the most basic that younger children should know. The pictures are fascinating and show what we believe Saturn’s rings look like from Earth and what they actually look like from the Voyager. Any planet-geek would love this book because of its close attention to detail and real-life photographs. This book tells you all about Saturn. There are amazing pictures from 3 different voyages! You also find out what its rings are really made of. Good read. As a student reading this book i found myself reading slowly about Saturn's rings, because i didn't want miss anything about the rings. This is a great book for anyone. As a teacher this book is great for my students. All students are very interested in Saturn, because of its rings. This book is exactly what i need for my students and the planets geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
