Delightful little story that begins very humorous and tragi-comic but by the end has that *nice* little SK twist. Of course.

A relationship on the rocks exposed by the pets each partner identifies with? Yes. Absolutely. A humorous tirade with the machine boys? Sure!

But a mystery and a horror, too? Oh, yes. Now we're firmly in the entertainment that SK does so well. And it's short. Totally worth it if you search for the one SK reads himself. :) It's also in Everything's Eventual, but you know how funny SK is in real life, so don't miss out on this. :)

This was much funnier than most King stories! I actually chuckled aloud several times as I listened! Lots of bad language, but totally within the character of LT, and again, often pretty dang funny! It's all about marriage, and pets, and, well, storytelling itself. LT's actual theory isn't very good, but the story, until the end, is! The end left me completely unsatisfied, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. But it is well worth the listen, and it's pretty cool to hear it in its author's own voice! ( )
