Olivia Lambert decides to go on her honeymoon to Costa Rica alone after she calls off her wedding to her cheating fiancé. On the first day of her trip after a day on the beach, out of the jungle comes a machete wielding (and very handsome) man, Ren Galvez. He kidnaps Olivia claiming it’s for her protection, saying that he is protecting her from a killer, which turns out to be true. Olivia and Ren then make their daring escape through the rainforest as they find themselves drawing closer together.

This was a very entertaining jungle adventure/romance. I loved the setting in the Costa Rica rainforest. The sights and sounds of the rainforest were described in such vivid detail I felt as though I was there. The story was fast-paced and action packed, and the lead characters were very likable. A fun, exciting, hard-to-put-down story. ( )
