I thought the idea of one twin stealing his brother's fiance and marrying her without telling her was a very interesting idea. But the way it went was kind of dumb. She meets the right brother (the hero) first. He is then sent out of town on business and the wrong brother somehow convinces her to marry him. All this in 6 weeks. The right brother comes home and convinces her to elope with him. So she does and then doesn't even get very mad when she finds out. So she just came across as DUMB. She loves the hero somehow after all that and only spending 3 days with him, chooses him over her fiance when she finds out the truth. Stretched my willing suspension of disbelief until it snapped I guess. I was hoping for better from this writer. ( ) I enjoyed book #2 in the Dante Legacy series by Leclaire. The first book in this series was "Dante's Blackmailed Wife". It's called The Inferno. It's what happens when a Dante male meets their intended mate. It's a spark of electricity and instant, overwhelming attraction. But this generation of Dante males believe The Inferno is just a fairy tale...until they begin to fall, one by one. Marco is the romantic...he's always been the one most willing to believe in The Inferno so when it happens to him, he's ready and willing to grab his mate and head for the closest flat surface to woo her! Unfortunately, he's sent on a last-minute trip and when he returns to Caitlyn, she's about to become engaged to his twin! Caitlyn is a facts and figures accountant. She only believes in what she can see and prove...and her past has taught her to take things carefully and that relationships must be built slowly and with caution to prevent mistakes. Lazz is Marco's twin. He and Marco have battled over women before and he certainly doesn't believe in The Inferno...he does believe that he and Caitlyn would be much better together as they are both accountants, both factual, and both grounded in reality. So he hatches a plan to steal Marco's Inferno mate. Add in a pinch of treachery, a splash of publicity...and you have another kind of inferno. Quick read, passionate, and a believable (other than The Inferno, of course) story. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
