This is more personal than As We Were and just a lovely book. I really want to visit Rye. ( ) 3817. Final Edition, by E. F. Benson (read 24 Oct 2003) This 1940 book is Benson's last (he died that year), and it covered some of the same ground as his 1925 book, Mother, which I read 18 Sept2003. All in all, the book is kind of precious and while it was about what I expected it did not live up to what I had hoped from it. E. F. Benson was a greatly self-centered man. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
