Many times, little kids enjoy messy rooms for some reason. The pictures are computer generated and very colorful and detailed. It is about a little girl who has a messy room but likes it just the way it is. She likes having things where they don't belong but she knows right where everything is. This book would be good for kindergarten and first grade because it is really short and easy and in the end of the book, there are several fun activities you could do with your students. The curricular connections are: messy rooms, growing up, and being unorganized. This girl adores her unbelievably filthy room, but her mother hates it. The back is full of practice and comprehention stuff: find words that begin with S, unscramble sentences, think about what makes you mad or glad, match words and pictures, and find rhymes. The story is good for beginning readers, and the stuff in the back is unnecessary, but nice for the more motivated reader. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
