"Just So Thankful" was a great book in my opinion. I liked this book for a few reasons. The characters were believable because they are children and one child is missing something very important in his life and the boys become friends and help each other realize things. The characters did things like play with toys, have a sleepover, play football, and make dinner. The point of view was interesting because it was told from Little Critters point of view, but at the end when H.H says "You're so lucky, Little Critter." After H.H says this, we see his point of view even if he is not speaking from his point of view in the book. The writing was engaging especially for children because a lot can relate to one or the other child. The message of this story is that sometimes you don't realize what you have, until you see someone else who doesn't have it. Something special, like family. Sometimes someone has to tell you that you're lucky for what you have to realize it too. ( )

I love the meaning in the story. Sometimes we get caught up wanting what other people have and don't realize what we ourselves are blessed with. Great book for any child to read and learn from. ( )

This a cute book to teach kids about being greatful for what you have. This book follows Little Critter who wants what a new kid down the street has. Little Critter learns a lesson that not everything can be bought by money. Ages: 5-7
