The ghost page lowkey sucks but every single other inch of this book is a haunted delight! I love that it’s a bit like the Treasure Hunt I Spy in that it leads the reader slowly through a journey, and ending with the dollhouse in the kids room is such a cozy end to it all. This is one of the most atmospheric books in the series for sure. ( )

The photography in this collection of spooky pictures is fantastic, but most of the photos are so dark, you likely will have trouble deciphering the details and locating the items. Still, it is a fun activity for young and old alike, and the rhymes will stir your imagination. A well executed and creative book. ( )

The very first I Spy I read with my son. I think it remains our favorite. ( )

I just reviewed the fantasy version of I Spy, and most of the things I said in that review could also go for this book. The book has stimulating pictures, challenging kids to hone in on their sentence. Fun picture book.
