Amazing! Not only is this a great book for the visually impaired, it also teaches sighted kids (in a small way) what it's like to be blind. Includes the Braille alphabet. ( )

This book is a MUST HAVE. I plan on purchasing this book at some point to have it useful to challenge students to come up with different ways they can help someone who is blind or has difficulty with sight. To give students the chance to critically think outside the main stream box of how to do things that are not traditional.

An interesting look at what it's like to be blind, from the perspective of a young boy who describes how colours feel, taste, smell, and sound. ( )
