Each poem has its own theme and uses silly scenarios to engage readers. Reflection: I enjoyed this book and thought it was a fun way to teach children about words that sound similar through use of alliteration and rhyming. The book also introduced a lot of vocabulary words. Extension Ideas: 1. Have children pick out new words and look up the meanings. 2. After reading the book, ask children to write their own poem. 3. Discuss different types of poetry. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
