Especially, the first story is very horrible. A man who is in a prison experienced a lot of horror. It's like nightmares. These stories are horrible and interesting but I don't know some words in the book. There are some difficult words. I like such a genre so I enjoyed reading the stories. If you like horror, I want you to read the book. This book has five stories.I introduce the first story. One man heard judges pronounced him death. But,when he opened eyes,he was still alive and noticed that he is in a big tomb. Afterwards, various terror(swing ax,fire,pit...) attack him. when I imagined if I am that man,I have only very big fear. I hate dark and watery place like a tomb. So I can't be patient! This story begins from deep darkness. Fortunato is lying in a prison in Toledo. He comes to himself in a tomb, he was buried alive in a tomb! Both of story and pictures in this book are horrible. More I read, more ghosts come out in story, it's not so interesting. I think this book is for people like horror. This book has five short stories. one of the story, The Pit and the Pendulum is a fantasy and horror story. A man who is in a prison encountered a bad incident like a nightmare. So he is suffering and distress. When I read this book, I think it is interesting book. But other four stories is a little boring. And it is unpleasant for me to be written with a man's view. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Everybody has bad dreams. Horrible things move towards you in the dark, things you can hear but not see. Then you wake up, in your own warm bed, and turn over to go back to sleep. But imagine that you wake up on a hard floor, in a darkness blacker than the blackest night. You listen to the silence, and smell a wet dead smell. Death is all around you, waiting...In these stories by Edgar Allan Poe, death whispers at you from every dark corner, and fear can send you mad... Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
