Really not a great entry into the Star Trek canon, this comes from the period when people were still thinking of supernatural things (possession) and jamming them into Trek willy nilly. This novel is an enjoyable tale. However, it will frustrate some readers for two reasons. The first is that the plot draws heavily on the concept of the Season 1 Episode, "The Naked Time" complete with Sulu brandishing a sword. The second is one that plagues many novels that are loosely based on a movie or television series and that is continuity of content. Having just recently read The Vulcan Academy Murders, it is clear that the author was not familiar with a previous visit to Vulcan by the crew of the Enterprise. If the reader can get past these distractions they should find a pleasant story to pass the time. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
