William Shatner's talents as a writer are matched by his qualities as an actor and a human being. This is not a compliment. However, this story of the conclusion of the storyline pitting Jim Kirk's evil counterpart from Star Trek's mirror universe, Tiberius, is actually fairly interesting. It links several loose ends of the Trek pantheon, including the Preservers, which are thought to have seeded the galaxy with their DNA descendants billions of years ago. The writing is typically Shatnerian, though, which makes me think that the sort-of credited co-writers, Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens, wrote out the plot and handed it to Shatner to flesh out. Doesn't suck as much as it might have. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
