"Where Wild Willie" by Arnold Adoff was a short book of poetry. The book was hard to follow due to how the words were scattered across the page. It was distracting. The reader trying to follow the words, makes it hard for readers to understand what they are reading. This author set the words up in a way that allowed for the reader to make a rhythm. The words were grouped in clusters of how the reader is supposed to read the line even though the words were on different lines. It also had the words scattered in such a way that the reader can tell which words were going together to make a rhyme. ( )

This book was not my favorite, It could be used to teach young readers about poetry. ( )

This book is good for kindergarten to second grade. It is a good book to demonstrate rhyme to the children. After reading this book, I would have the kids write their own poems.
