Originally published in 1981, this is one of the first books I remember reading; it's a wordless book about a family's morning - waking up, making breakfast, reading the paper, getting dressed. It is suffused with warm color and coziness.

I think I like the golden glow of the sunlight better. Also the little girl is behaving better and is more appealing in this one. If I had littles I would buy this to share with them. ( )

A lovely wordless picture book depicting a little girl getting ready for the day. Full of detail that will reward the observant reader. ( )

AS the little girl wakes up there is a series of pictures of her schedule. The little girl takes it on herself to get her parents up and ensure that they get out of the house. She follows her own schedule and follows the of her parents as well. She eats cereal, climbs in bed with her parents while they read the paper, brushes her teeth, gets dressed and then finally makes her way out the door.

The artwork was very unique, yet universal. ( )
