Not so sure I like the very last page, but I do appreciate this treatment of the theme of overcoming fear of the dark. The cellar door that opens to the back garden is revelatory, indeed. Would *you* be brave enough to go down the cellar and confront a monster to save your mother? I'm not sure I would have been! Harry knew there was something terrible down in the cellar. But, one day he plucks up the courage to find out what has happened to his mother, who has not come back, and ventures down the steps. Soon, he is face to face with his worst fear; A double-headed, three-clawed, Six-toed, long-horned Whatzit! Can Harry overcome his fears once and for all? This is a great book to read with your little one. Especially if they suffer from night fears! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
