This book is about the pondering/possibility of if zebras lost their stripes. It touches the surface on identity in asking the question “what would a zebra do if they lost their stripes?” I would recommend this book to kinder-fourth grade, as it is both a creative narrative and it focuses on the need for including how zebras might lose their stripes. The aspect of inclusion also plays a role in the narrative of this book.

This book follows a pack of Zebras and explores the idea of "what if they lost their stripes" and explores how they would act. It has a deeper meaning that is hidden in the book - it talks about white and black zebras and asks if they can be friends and play with each other. It also asks the question, " will they only only see the black or white- and not what lives within their hearts". It seems like a silly book, but is actually pretty deep.

This book asks the question of what would happen if zebras lost their stripes? It shows what would happen if suddenly we had a group of black zebras and a group of white zebras and tells of the strife that might arise between these two groups. It concludes by saying that the reason that zebras are both colors is so that they all get along.

It is a good fantasy book because the author made several assumptions about the zebras who lose their strips. ( )

It is a amazing example of fastasy because it build up a imaginarworld that the zebras lose their stripes.
Zebra starts to lose their stripes and become black and yellow. Will the zebra live separetedly? Will they not view them as zebras. But the world is smart to let zebras' olors tear apart.
I love the painting and plot of this book. It builds a creative assumption what if zebras lose their stripes. It reminds me the race problems in the world. We have different colors but we can see each other by our hearts.
good book for elementary ( )
