Thinking they needed to impress the photographer with the nice things they had (pretty vegetables in their garden, fancy hats, new shoes, and instraments) they end up looking very silly. Through out the story the photographer tries to tell them that "simple pictures are best" but don't listen to him but instead take the advice of the assistant and continue to add things to their picture. In the end, the picture is ruined. This is a funnt little story that is saying that you shouldn't try so hard to impress other people. You should be proud of who you are, no matter how simple you may think you are. It is best to just be true to yourself. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
