Looking at this book it doesn't look like a chapter book, however, for students in K-2nd grade this is a perfect bridge between reading picture books and reading actual chapter books. There are still many pictures to help students, but the text is more detailed and in depth as well as it's broken down into different parts or chapters. Children will love a book like this because it has actual photographs of the plants, taken by Doolittle, for them to look at and make the connections to what they're seeing in the book to what they're seeing in real life. Goodman looks at how plants survive it different weather conditions, different habitats, and how they adapt to make new life. This book is perfect for the little scientist or nature fanatic in your life! ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
