Too many subplots to keep up with; that's what over 600 pages can allow an author to lose sight of when to stop writing. Of course, it ends as expected around page 400.

However, it was a good beach read. ( )

This book was recommended to me by a customer and it is now one of my favorite books. The strong female character is one that I wish every divorced woman could become. I am deeply impressed by the messages of this book and wish all women could read it. In the story, Gaby is told by her husband he no longer loves her. She has no previous work experience and struggles to make it on her own. She eventually becomes a CEO and gains a new love and true friends.
