I liked this book for a few reasons. First the pictures in the book were actual photos of the different points in his life. The photos have captions that describe what is happening in the photo to better understand the different things being said in the text. The other thing is that the book was engaging because it was interesting to read about his life especially if you are interested in baseball. The only part I was a little upset about was when Roberto made the comment, “I’d rather play in a coal mine,” because I am an Orioles fan, but other than that I liked the book. The book was made for readers to learn about Roberto Clemente’s life and to teach them that you can affect many people’s lives from what you can accomplish and inspire people. ( )
