Bad ear for dialog or internal monologue - no little kid would say 'sundress' and people don't think in proper sentences or use words like perhaps and return in casual conversation. Hapless Elizabeth bleats endlessly about not being able to have a baby and then in another scene is babysitting a brat who destroys everything she touches within seconds and she is resentful. Well, what did you expect you idiot? Kids are gross. She's also ridiculously timid and dumb. The 'flirty byplay' between her and Harper is moronic. Who talks like this? This is supposed to be an adult chat-up? Why am I listening to this? DNF. Returned to library. Ugh. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
