This book is a very short book with rhyming. Each page has a pop up monster and describes the monster.

This is a book from my personal collection from when I was a child. I use to have my mother read this to me frequently and she always used such wonderful voices when she did. Even though it is a simple reader and short the popups are amazing. This is a wonderful book for young children, it also helps "monsters" not seem like such a horrible thing.

Classroom extensions:
- The students can each create their own monster mask using paper plates and a largevariety of craft materials.
- Using the masks we can create our own Little Monsters story where each student, wearing their mask, will jump out and describe their monster..ex: this little monster likes to jump up high.
