This is a helpful and informative book, but not very interesting or engaging enough for a child. I would have to read it over many times for the tools in it to be useful to my kids. ( ) The main message of this book is how to cope with anger, and that it is okay to be angry sometimes! I felt that the language in this book was clear and concise, and explained anger in a way that very young children could understand and relate to. Although the writing was in short sentences with only 1-2 sentences per page, it was still very descriptive. The author did a wonderful job of providing examples or situations that would make someone angry. There is the main character of a bunny, but this character is not really developed and simply serves as an example of how to handle anger that children can relate to. The plot was organized, and the story had a good flow to it. The illustrations of this book are beautiful. They were colored with colored pencil and you can really see the emotion in the characters faces even though they are animals. This book pushes readers to think about more uncomfortable feelings like anger and coping with our emotions. This book would be a great read for students with emotional issues as well as after a difficult situation arising in the classroom. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
