A Fine Fat Pig was a fun read. This book was filled with poems about different animals such as lions, snakes, walruses, etc. The poems consist of things like what the animals may do, how they behave or what they eat. I think this would be a very entertaining poetry book for young children. The illustrations are very loud and eye catching, and the rhyming gives the book a perfect tone. I also think this book would be a good thing to include in a lesson about animals, or even reading it before a trip to the zoo can be somewhat educational. Very cute read. ( )
