It is still cool to know that there are so many species of animals.
Rainforests have 5 layers they are called the emergent layer, canopy layer, under-canopy layer, shrub layer ,and the forest floor. Rainforests cover about 6% of the Earth's surface. In a Tropical Rain-forest it rains almost every day. Rainforests also contain rare ores, so the strip mine. To strip mine they have to get rid of rainforest trees and habitats in the way. Between 1980 and 1990 about 50% of all the rainforests have been lost. Most of the animals in a rainforest live in the canopy of the rainforest, which is pretty much the roof of the forest.
