This is such a great book for teaching children that it's okay to be themselves. This book about a "too-tall ballerina" can bring such a confidence to kids in pursuing their dreams. Betsy B Little was overlooked and ridiculed because she didn't meet the requirements many expected of a ballerina. But Betsy did not give up. She continued to pursue her dreams, and it turned out better than she ever would have thought. Betsy B. Little was not small at all. Everything she did was a totally disaster. Until one day when she finally went on with a dream to be a ballerina. She had a disaster one day in class and did not show back the next day. She continued dancing outside and she knew this was her best performance yet. I love the rhyming they had in the story it made it very cute. It would also teach children to never give up on their careers, but to find their own way. Everything Betsey B. Little tried to do never came easy for her. Until one day she asked her parents if she could take ballet. Even though ballet was a disaster Betsey realized it was just doing it in doors that was harder for her. Betsy decided to take her ballet act outside and from then on she was a hit. This story was extremely cute. It shows kids to keep dreaming no matter what. My favorite part of the story was the rhyming. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
