Similar to Hillman's "How Big Is It?", "How Strong Is It?", is a concept book introducing kids to the strength and power of everyday things in very unique ways. The book begins with a Table of Contents. Each section of the book is illustrated with giant photographs and text. Example topics are the strength of a spider web, where the picture shows the difficulty a passenger plane would have passing through one; the jaws of a shark are so powerful, you could cut a huge tree down; and how Rapunzel's hair could actually hold 17,500 pounds of princes. This is a great book to make power and strength relevant to kids. The book does not have a bibliography, but has a detailed index making finding certain information simple.
