Plunges into the rich pluralism of modern religion and comes up with a daring strategy of which each major religious tradition can articulate its claim to religious truth. There were moments when I thought I understood Tracy, then followed long passages when his profound thoughts disappeared into strings of alligator words or highly technical terminology used in his own specific manner. Is this a trait open to all academics or peculiar to theologians and philosophers? Suddenly I would be faced with page after page of familiar words now uniquely imbued with Tracy-meaning, rendered all but incomprehensible to anyone but the author. Or was I just dull? I struggled on: surely he was telling me something important? I’m not sure I ever got it. I finished his work bewildered, with no real Idea of what he was teling me except that Imagination and Analogue were intimately related. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
