One day children find a sand-fairy,when they would go down into the pit to play in the sand. The fairy looks like very strange. His body is fat and furry. But he could give wishes only one day. It is an interesting story as a fantasy. I'm jealous of the children because their dreams came ture. I wish I could have it. Anyhow it is exciting reading this book. Five children live in the white house on the hill. One day, one of the children, Robert, said "let's dig a deep hole-perharps we can get all the way down to Australia." When they dug a hole, something said something. Something said something was a sand-fairy. This book contains some stories, and every story is interesting. If the sand-fairy grants their request and they are once happy, finally they are not happy. I want to read this book again. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

But things go wrong...
This book teaches me an important lesson that wishes we want to make true are always difficult to come true. But I don't like the end of the book. ( )
