The Spanish and English lines are pretty different (in order to preserve the rhyme in both languages) and both really work. I find this one fun to read. ( ) This book is about a grandfather and his grandson going to the zoo. It also is a rhyming counting book. Each animal has a different animal with a different number. Like, three alligators and eight spiders. This books illustrations are vibrant and engaging. This could be a good choice if you are introducing poetry or doing counting. This book is very helpful with kids who are learning to count. It uses the fun of the zoo animals and a trip to the zoo to teach readers how to count to ten. The author did a good thing by choosing something that kids love animals and using them to teach them how to count. The importance of this is that the kids grasp the counting activity. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
