Dit boekje vereist een zekere voorkennis van de échte Bijbel, als referentie van wat zij die de Bijbel schreven eigenlijk bedoelden. Zoniet gaat het verhaal grotendeels de mist in. Het resultaat is een handvol goeie verhalen, met leuke anachronismen bij Adam en Eva, en een David die het wil maken als stand-upcomedian, maar jammer genoeg ook een te grote portie ballast.
