Like its counterpart, D is for Drinking Gourd, I really enjoyed reading this book. I especially liked the rhyming lines present in this instillment of the alphabetic culture series. I am growing more and more fond of these books, and may have to search Amazon for several to purchase (used) for my classroom or future children. It's adorable, and covers a wide range of topics in England's history. A fun read for all ages. ( ) This alphabet book is full of information about England. I first picked up this book for my kids because my husband is from England. I ended up loving the book myself because of all the information it included that I had never learned in the usual history books. This book could accompany a social studies unit on England and its people. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
