It was fun, but not a favorite. I did appreciate their use of the washing machine to clean up the book. How innovative and horrifying at the same time! Marion, the hedgehog, loves books and takes them with her everywhere. When she starts school, she's thrilled to be able to borrow from the library. But when she reads a library book at the breakfast table, an accident with some raspberry jam starts a chain reaction similar to the red splot in Cat In the Hat Comes Back. She gets the dog to lick it, then scrubs it with toothpaste, then brings it in the bathtub to wash...will she ever get the stain out? This one is fun as a read-aloud because we become increasingly alarmed at what she's doing to the book! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
