( ) Yes, I bought this book on it's cover. Africa in the title, and a plane. Good choice. An American who flew for France in WWI is sentenced to the French Foriegn Legion in North Africa. But it only starts there. Good flying bits but alot of working through personal demons (my current fave....) and even a transatlantic flight. Ambigous alot of the time but that is what makes it work. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Flying with the Lafayette Squadron in 1918, Charlie Halifax, a holder of the Croix de Guerre, is shot down and badly wounded. He deserts but is recaptured and exiled into the Foreign Legion.
