This is fun enough but man do I have to really editorialize how differently we treat animals at the aquarium now. That orca show is awful! (Note to all: do not support animal shows like that.) It is a good opportunity to discuss with my daughter how things in the past were different than they are now, and we learn to do better over time.

This is an awesome book for beginning readers. Mercer Mayer does a great job with all of these I Can Read books. The illustrations are very fun and vivid. This book is about a class visiting a sea park and seeing all kinds of sea life. Fun things happen in the sea park and students get a kick out of this book. The words are in large print and this makes it easy for students to read.
