When a recruiter for the National Security Agency goes AWOL, NSA information analyst T.C. Steele must track her down before it's too late in this intricate reinvention of the spy thriller. When National Security Agency recruiter Rebecca Townsend vanishes from plain sight with a new recruit by her side, the NSA sets out on a hunt to return them home, whether they want to be found or not. As the agency digs to uncover where Townsend has disappeared to, with Veteran analyst T.C. Steele returning to work on the sole mission of finding her, it becomes apparent that her extended family might just be involved, working under the mysterious family name of the Disciples. Now, as the agency balances the aftermath of a threatening security breach and realizing one of their top recruiters has betrayed them, Steele and his team unknowingly follow a path that will lead them to decades worth of secrets on nations around the world. I personally found the book to be quite dull, parts were okay, but overall there was just nothing that really drew me in or made me care one way or the other about any of the characters.
Yeah it was a bit of a unique story, but it's so far fetched that it really needed that layer of excitement in the telling to bridge the gap between what is possible, and what is told in the story. Instead you're bored turning page by page events you don't even care about transpire with your main goal being just to reach the end of it. ( )
