As expected Naruto arrives and everything will almost be sorted.
I don't like the back- up and ground work done by others whose credit will go to the kid with the new technique.
Naruto is showing no growth , except getting new fancy techniques cause others see potential in him.
A bit expected , no surprise factor in this episode.
I am excited to know who pein is actually. ( )

This volume is easily one of my favorites in the series. Naruto, having mastered Sage mode, takes on Pain, who singlehandedly brought down the entire village. It brought shivers to my spine and I felt all the awe of all the villagers as they see this old fuck-up surpass everyone including the legendary ero-senin.

I know greater shit happens later in the series, but at this point in time, Naruto has become truly awesome, and it affects me as only a true underdog story can.

The massive amount of destruction and awfulness in this volume packs quite a punch. Even if people survive, they'll have to rebuild from scratch, because everything is gone. Unfortunately, again, there is no time to grieve, no time to stop and reflect on just how terrible all this is. Naruto and Pain are still fighting, and Naruto has gone super-super-powered.

Of all the deaths and near-deaths in this volume, the one that hit me the most was Kakashi. He has long been a favorite character of mine.

Summary:
In this vol of Naruto is where Naruto returns home to find his village destroyed by Pain and he has returned to fight Pain in Naruto in Sage mode which he has just learned.

Personal Reaction:
This is my one of my favorite vol because of all the action the Naruto is in with his big fight with Pain.

Classroom Extension:
1. I would allow the kinds to bring in there favorite cartoon book or manga.
2. I would teach the children about how things are expressed in a manga.
